IGC’s reputation has been built on the quality and usability of our custom interpretations for clients. Each project is designed to accomplish the directive given by the client. To help the client visualize results clearly, we will design and tune data to the most appropriate final map views. We provide your output and data in whatever format you require.

IGC’s multi-client or non-exclusive packages are an effective way to benefit from selected components of our experience. We’ve worked a lot of places and we’ve used that region- and area-specific experience to develop non-exclusive integrated interpretation packages for the Continental U.S., Gulf of Mexico and select basins around the globe.

We understand you want results, not just information. Clients get a thorough assessment of every issue associated with an engagement before we ever create a proposal. We confirm that the interpretation, as proposed can give you the results you want. We want to make sure it is realistic and that it fits within the constraints you must deal with in your organization.

To get the most out of your data, IGC utilizes various commercial and proprietary software packages. We follow industry best practices in applying the tools, and add our own experience in optimizing them. To help clients manage their inventory of interpretations and data, we have developed a proprietary data-management solution called VIDL® Visual Interactive Data Library.

The type and quality of data affect outcome of the project. Many factors influence the quality of data such as the instrumentation used and how it is maintained; the position reference sources and their accuracy; and the skill of the crew collecting survey data. For the best results, you need a team that is intimately familiar with the strengths of the survey companies and the quality and idiosyncrasies of existing data sets.

Our techniques, tools and knowledge create value. Execution is as important as planning. There are proven practices that get the most from whatever software or tools you want to use. Those practices come from the collective published knowledge of the science and the unique experience of our interpreters. Correlative knowledge of area geology is critical to interpretation.

Integrated, multi-science interpretations now represent the state of the art because of the detail and confidence they provide. Geophysics has proven its value in both identifying areas of interest within a broad region and in clarifying structure in specific areas. In some situations the geosciences are the only way to get a reliable picture of a prospective structure.

A project is defined as a series of 2D and/or 3D products interpreted to resolve the geophysical/geological problem at hand. Some examples of final product would be: Integrated Interpretation Maps, Data Enhancement Maps, 2D Structural Model Profiles, and 3D Earth Model. We also provide a project summary or project report as either a paper copy or a PDF digital copy.

Helping decision makers understand what you’ve found is key. Your interpretation is valuable only to the extent that decision makers can understand it. They may have diverse professional backgrounds and their understanding of the sciences may vary widely. We work with clients to generate the presentation elements that will be most meaningful to their internal audience. Our hallmark is that each presentation will honor the integrity of the data and reflects only the results from the data.
